Urd had seemed confident thus far, sure. Inside, however, was a different story. So many factors had to be considered when doing a large-scale, complicated spell like this, the most worrying one being the inability to access Yggdrasil like normal. Obviously, she was still connected to it in some way or she'd have shut down long ago, drained of power. But things were different here in Paixao. Where she would normally be able to access the energy of the life all around them in the 3rd dimension, this place, with its fake fauna and flora and skies, couldn't be processed without some serious eye for detail. And she'd never done something like this before anyway!
All of these doubts, however, faded as her angel materialized above her. World of Elegance smiled serenely at the trio gaping at her and Urd had to suppress a small chuckle. This'll take some explaining... But there wasn't time for details, so a summary would have to do.
"This is my angel," she explained, reaching up to take her hand. They shared a small, gentle smile before they simultaneously looked back to the others. "All you need to know is that she's a part of me, two souls in one body. And that I need her for me to do this." Urd's smile faded, all seriousness.
"Let's begin."
Urd lifted her hands to her heart and then upward, spreading her arms before bringing them back. A hollow click echoed around them, the humming changing in pitch as the circles tightened around them. As she spoke, her voice was unnaturally audible despite the sudden presence of a strong wind. "Spirits of the Elements, Nurturers of Life...hear me." Above the goddess, World of Elegance mirrored her movements exactly, mouth moving silently. "I call upon your aid to access the rhythm of this demon's life, the thread of fate that now entwines him."
The light beneath them intensified and darkened to a deep magenta. Power began to drain from Laharl, flowing visibly from his circle along the line of runes towards Vyers. Timon's will, manifesting as conscious energy, slowly drained from him as well. It would be a struggle for both of them to stay upright...and the spell wouldn't work if they couldn't focus.
Urd struggled to focus as well. As a goddess, she could see the programming flowing around them. Vyers' biological signature was being processed -- as such, she had to make absolutely certain she changed none of the core elements, instead seeking out the few portions that would halt the deterioration. The Seraph's magic was incredibly difficult to read, however, and she needed more time. Time they didn't have.
Vyers floated off his feet in the center of the mandala, his life fading as the time ticked by, his soul bared and vulnerable. Urd struggled to breathe, her power coursing out of her as she maintained the spell and kept Vyers alive. Laharl's power was draining at a faster rate, Timon would have to fight to stay conscious...and still she couldn't find the chance to change what she had to.
