"What's with all the doom and gloom?" Urd's voice rang out in the darkness. Suddenly, some yards away, pale blue light faded in, growing steadily brighter until the surrounding area was bathed in its soft glow. The light came from an intricate, dizzying mandala carefully drawn into the sand of the beach, the runes written through out it pulsing faintly. The atmosphere around them seemed charged, as if a storm would burst at any second.

As for Urd, she stood with a hand on her hip, a calm smile curving her lips as she surveyed the trio coming her way. Gone was the casual, every day clothing, replaced by the revealing, flowing dress she wore as a goddess from Heaven. From the outside, it appeared as if this were just another day at the office for her.
