Touchy! Not that Genie really blamed Beast but this behaviour was completely unnecessary. He had come here to help him and after doing so he received this as thanks. Go figure. Mortals were never happy with what they got, were they? They always wanted more, more, more. The genie crossed his arms across his chest, eyes still on Beast. No, he could not change him back into a human but if he told him precisely why he would be even more upset. This was, after all, the beasts own doing. If he wanted to break the spell he would have to do so himself. He knew he had to change his selfish ways if he ever wanted one to love him, though Genie doubted he would be any time soon. Beast was too stubborn. And though he would have been delighted to help Beast in that aspect, if Belle was still here, there was greater chance she could both change him and break the spell. Genie wondered if they had met yet.
“You’re welcome.” He said, knowing at this rate he would not receive thanks for his efforts. “I suppose your next wish would be for me to leave?”
