Yorda knew that, should she manage to find a door of light and go near it, all shadows in the area would be destroyed. She had no way of controlling that power, however, and besides, it hurt her to use it. Despite that, the princess wanted to help in any way she could, especially if it meant she could stop more Heartless from being created. She may not have been able to fight in the normal sense of the word, but she could heal, at least, and light the way in the dark. Perhaps that would be enough.
