"What!?" Flonne gasped, stopping again suddenly. She turned around, hands on her hips and gave Laharl the sternest look she could muster. "You're saying you haven't met any allies or anything? No one we could go to for help?" She sighed, the overhanging tails of her bow drooping with the movement. "Laharl-san, that's not good. You've been given a great opportunity to learn all sorts of things about other worlds. That's very important for an Overlord!"

Not that she knew, exactly, what was or wasn't important for an Overlord, but she imagined anyone in charge of a kingdom should try to expand their knowledge.
