That was it. Quina had finally given up on searching for the crocodile, after looking for a few weeks. Feeling disappointed, tired and angry, it sadly passed through the Joutenheim gates, heading towards the path it knew that led the way back to the restaurant. It certainly had a thing or two to say to that man with the hook who led it on a wild goose chase.
Hopefully, there would something interesting in one or two of the shops that it passed by...
