The office is open [active]

Character(s): NPCs! People registering for citizenship!
Content: Register for citizenship!
Setting: Former Clan Centurio [I8]
Time: Week 18, all week, morning-evening :D
Warnings: None for now

Thread format party-style. Each person comments separately, and Rosemary will deal with each accordingly :D

And there is actually an application/form here that the mods will receive.

Last minute preparations were complete and the doors were now open to take in any guests that wished to register with the city. This was a bit step for the city, but it was out of necessity that they needed to take it. Within the building there were some natives moving about, but for the most part, the lone secretary sat at a desk, a pile of papers besides her, a quill in hand, and she waited.

At the very least, she knew to expect some... people already. People and meerkats.

Rosemary sighs.

“Oi, what’s the hold up?” Timon asked, striking a similar pose as Vyers while he waited at his feet. He couldn’t see above the counter, so whether or not anyone was even there remained a mystery to him. “I came here to become a citizen – at which point I will immediately run for Mayor – not stand in line all day. I got better things to do. Why, I could be working on my campaign right now.”

Knowing Vyers, they could be standing there forever simply because he wanted to be polite. The meerkat sighed. “If you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself. Hang on, Vyers. I’ll take care of this.” He said before he stomped ahead to the front of the line, simply weaving himself between the feet of those ahead of him. “Excuse me!” he called out. “Move it! Make room, make room. Watch it, Twiggy. I'm walkin' here!”

Vyers was immediately pulled from his thoughts at Timon's sudden outburst, and before he could say anything in protest, Timon had cut to the front of the line. The demon put his head in his hand, hardly able to believe Timon's rudeness. Although... the more he thought about it, the more tempting a trip to the front of the line was. And my, what a long line this was. If this form was so simple, would not the line be going faster?

He parted his fingers and peered between them to get another look at the line. Well... he could always make the excuse that he was just keeping a close eye on the meerkat (which was something that needed to be done anyway).

Vyers cautiously weaved through the line, following the meerkat's trail as best as he was able and muttering preoccupied apologies under his breath.
