He had to admit, even he hadn't seen that one coming. Not that he was surprised, as such, but still. Laharl hadn't expected it from her. Interestingly, this was the first time someone had ever commented about him being 'cute' to his actual face. Oh, he'd heard it plenty of times on the journals, but not face to face.

Laharl's expression was a little surprised and a lot exasperated as he felt his head being patted and his hair touched.

"No. I'm not 'cute'," Laharl replied, almost deadpan, as exasperation shifted to a half lidded glare. Lifting a hand, he attempted to swat away the hand assaulting his hair.
