Oh, if only Urd had known how greatly the meerkat had longed for a good fur brushing with a stiff-bristled brush. Or maybe she did and he was not aware of it. Either way, he had no reason to argue against it when he felt the brush run down his back. He gave a soft ‘oh’ in both surprise and satisfaction, his body following the movement of the brush. Without any direction from the goddess, he easily moved into a new position that made it easier for Urd to brush where she was required too. His tail wagged happily, matching the large, dopey grin on his face while she brushed his coat.

When the goddess stopped Timon turned to look up at her. “How am I supposed to learn anything new if I can’t investigate these new things, hu? Also, why did you stop?” he asked, having clearly taken a liking to this brushing treatment. His eyes travelled down to his coat where he examined it curiously, pulling and poking at it before he heard something… something that caught him off guard. The meerkat raised a brow and slowly placed his paws on his chest, then his neck. His confusion quickly became horror when he realized that he was in fact purring!

He coughed to try and cover the noise, quickly turning away from the goddess. “On second thought, I outta get going. It’s been a long night, you know?” Taking note of his wagging tail, Timon grabbed it in attempt to keep it still. Unfortunately, the tip continued wagging again, even in his hold. The meerkat laughed nervously and began to head toward the door. “Just the usual wake up routine. I’m always like this before my morning, uh… What did Vyers call it again? Oh, coffee! That’s it.”
