Urd held up her hand and, with a puff of smoke, a stiff-bristled brush appeared. "Trust me, no one, least of all me, wants to see a bald meerkat," she said dryly. "Hold still a sec." She reached out and ran the brush over his back with careful but firm strokes. "Hmm...looks good. All your original fur is in place." As she brushed, she glanced at his face, eyebrow arched.
"And you can argue with me all you like about what you were doing up there, but face the facts. You mess around with things you don't understand, you might get worse than some extra fur." She finished and stood up again, putting the brush she'd summoned on the vanity with the others.
