“Grow back?! You don’t mean to this long, do you?” Timon expected his fur to grow back but not nearly as long as it was now. If it did, and cutting it didn’t work, what exactly did Urd plan to do? How could she possibly fix this? How could this have even happened in the first place? He had his doubts about her abilities but he knew he didn’t have much other choice given his situation. Where else could he could? Anywhere he went he’d be ridiculed. Well, that and the fact that the goddess had completely confined him to her room. He couldn’t leave even if he wanted to. Not unless he was sneaky.
Childishly the meerkat folded his arms across his chest and sat down with a pout. “I didn’t touch anything!” he argued. “Not on purpose. It was an accident! You said not to touch anything, never anything about just look at things.” There were still plenty of things in the room that were curious to Timon, one being the cupboard that he had struggled to open, but the thought of being covered with bows instantly made him think twice. He looked up at the cupboard and tilted his head to the side questioningly.
“Can I ask you a question?” he asked the goddess. “Other than the one I’m asking now I mean. What’s in that cupboard up there?”
