Timon sighed. It seemed as though Urd finally got the message. Oi, women. Maybe it would have been better if he had called on a guy instead, then he wouldn’t have found himself confronted with such difficult questions or have to worry about things like feelings. Not to mention all this caring stuff. That probably wouldn’t have come up at all and if so at least at a more appropriate time. He allowed his paw to slide down his face and fall back to his side before he spoke again.
“Thank you.”
His eyes travelled out to the street again where they stayed for the longest time until they reached Urd’s house. During that time the meerkat made no attempt to converse with the goddess. There were far too many things on his mind now and, based on his previous outburst, he wasn’t sure what he’d blurt out next. He turned to look up at Urd when she finally spoke again upon reaching the house. Hm. He hummed softly in response and looked up at the building curiously. The place gave him the strangest feeling.
“Fair enough.” Timon agreed and climbed onto her hand.
