Timon watched the elderly woman pass worriedly. She may have looked small, old, and completely harmless but who knew. Maybe she had something up her sleeve they didn’t know about. Maybe she wasn’t who she seemed to be, it could have been a disguise of some sort. Or, maybe, he was just being paranoid. Regardless, he continued to watch the woman until she disappeared into the night. It was rare he ever saw an elderly inhabitant. So rare, now that he thought of it, he couldn’t say he even had. Most of Paixao’s inhabitants were so young. It was bizarre.

I don’t want them to worry and I especially don’t need anyone feeling sorry for me. Why do you care anyway?”
