"Why didn't you talk to me sooner?" she snapped at the meerkat, ducking under an arch just in time as she continued to fly. "He might already be there. We've already lost the element of surprise." There were too many uncertainties in this plan, she knew that now. But it wasn't as if she had any better ideas.
