It was only really by luck that Saïx was in the area at the time. There were matters that needed to be tended to in the wake of Larxene's sudden disappearance. However, even with that it was hard to mistake the Superior's voice. Nor was it hard to miss the Dusks twining their way through the street after the fleeing girl.

Whoever she was - something he hadn't thought to ask on their previous encounter - it seemed the Superior wanted her for something. And if he was detained for whatever reason than it fell to him to step up to the task.

"Going somewhere?" he asked, stepping out of the shadows of the alleyway.
