Marluxia grimaced as Saix cut through the vines, having hoped his opponent would leave them be a moment longer. The explosion would have given him the opening he needed to escape, no matter how great or little the damage caused. As it was, Marluxia could only teleport out of the way.

He moved farther back, almost to the wall now, and threw his arm forward, sending a forceful gale in Saix's direction with the aim of gaining some ground.
