Yay for running late [Active/Closed]

Content: Double date?? Yuna goes out to practice with her dresspheres and runs into a few friends

Warnings: None for now, but maybe Beast's temper ought to get stuck here

Yuna had intended to be up early so she could get outside to work on her dresspheres again, but she'd managed to oversleep that morning. So instead of being able to relax as she got ready, she was running around, gathering up her things as she tried not to disturb Belle. She honestly, wasn't paying much attention to how much noise she was making, though, as her entire morning would get thrown off if she didn't make it out on time, and the whole thing was reminiscent of the morning after her trip to Djose Temple as a summoner and Operation Mi'ihen. She just hoped no one would tease her about having bed hair this time around.

As it was, she barely didn't hit her intended goal. Sighing to herself, she set up camp and started to shuffle through her dresspheres. Which one would be the best option for now? With luck, she wouldn't be disturbed and she could go on training the entire day.

"Y-yes," Beast answered Yuna cautiously, keeping his voice very controlled so he wouldn't growl as he spoke. He looked at Belle, and smiled a little as she answered, relaxing slightly.

Of course, there weren't any spaces in the restaurant that would accommodate Beast comfortably, but after the first few weeks in the city he was used to that. It wouldn't be very pleasant, but the normal chairs could still support his weight; and after all, that was all they needed to do. With that arrangement, however, Beast was left sitting well back from the table, unable to fit his large legs under it.

Then Beast realized that he had forgotten an important thing for a situation like this. He didn't remember anything of etiquette. He'd lived as a monster for so long, he'd given up on that aspect of being human ages ago. Now...that decision seemed much worse than it had before.

Yuna beamed at Beast as he answered her question, feeling that at least they were making some progress here. She glanced around for a bigger chair, but it didn't seem like one was available. Fortunately, Beast sat down soon after, so she was spared the need to worry about it. She took a seat on Beast's other side, thinking that maybe sticking Tidus next to him would be a bad idea at the moment, much as she would have liked to sit next to Belle. Maybe later they could try it.

She wouldn't blame Beast for his eating habits, though she didn't know anything about his past. Right now, though, she smiled up at Tidus as he returned to the table.

"Thanks, Tidus. Did they say how long it would be?"

Belle had arranged herself so that she was sitting a bit further back from the table, closer to Beast. As she watched Yuna and Beast briefly interact, she smiled gently, unconsciously reaching out and giving Beast's paw a brief squeeze. Other than the very obvious tension between him and Tidus, things were going very well. Of course, she knew Yuna would get along with Beast. Her kind and generous nature was one of the things that Belle admired most about the girl.

When Tidus joined them, Belle folded her hands in her lap and nodded. "Yes, thank you."

"Not very long." Tidus responded, "They said about twenty minutes at most. We can always eat bread until then." He suggested, putting down the bowl of complementary bread he picked up. Tidus was still a bit iffy with the situation and how unfriendly Beast seemed to be, so he thought it'd be best to keep his mouth shut otherwise. We'd have to see how long that would last.
