The corners of Vyers' mouth twitched downward. "You changed that to implicate me in the matter, didn't you?" he muttered. Not that Vyers minded taking some of the "blame," of course. Having the document in hand was enough for him. Rather, it was the reasoning he imagined was behind the blame, considering the next stream of ideas.

"But, I suppose if you do not wish to take responsibility for finding such an important piece of information, I would be more than happy to present my findings to the populace," he continued, gesturing with the hand holding the note as he did so.
