If Laharl looked any different to Adell, it would perhaps be only his rather frazzled state of appearance, really there no no visable difference between the Overlord before him and the one he'd met that would be three years later. Unless one could actually tell when someone had grown a centimeter. His scarf would be the only real difference, as it was only a single large piece that shifted about behind him as he slipped off the bed and approached, folding his arms in his typical stance.
He didn't even greet Adell, as what was following the battle maniac had rather taken his attention. One of his rarely un-furrowed eyebrows actually lifted, as he stared at the three. "...Prinnies?" he finally said, looking rather shocked.
How had THIS happened. He knew prinnies were human souls, but... he'd never seen a prinny actually regain their bodies. Nothing like that happened until they were reborn.
Laharl was ready to question how the hell they could be prinnies, but that really wasn't the pressing issue here. He'd question them soon enough, however.
He tore his gaze away, centering it back on Adell, ignoring them for now. "You got the items?" he questioned, perhaps coming across slightly rude, but he was making it a point to get straight to the point. All that mattered right now was making Flonne better. Transforming prinnies could wait.
