Jecht certainly knew how to make an entrance, didn’t he? Genie could not help but smile at his enthusiasm. It was players like him who kept things interesting. He wondered if the man played as well as he boasted however. The most ‘skilful’ players he knew so far were only at that of the mouth. He looked forward to seeing what the man could do. For the most part he imagined him to have quite the swing.
Deciding to play along with Jecht’s big hero’s entrance, the djinn summoned a long red carpet which rolled out before the man’s feet and lead to the table. Trumpets could be heard playing a triumphant melody at his arrival while two young flower girls dropped flower petals at his feet. When Jecht reached to table, Genie gracefully bowed before the man, a large grin across his face as he greeted him. “Why, if it isn’t the champion himself! It is truly an honour, sir. You don’t think I could ask you for an autograph, do you?”
