Well, she certainly had confidence, he gave her that much. However, there were still several other players who had both confidence and experience – himself one of them. Like Urd, he too had taken the time aside to practice his swing, though it was doubtful it would make much of a difference in the end. Genie was naturally destined (or cursed as some would put it) to lose almost every game he played. It was perhaps one of his greatest weaknesses, though he did not dwell on hiding it as greatly as others did such things.
