When the server arrived Lenne let Refia order, then added her own selection to the bill. She tried to think of things to talk about, but it was always so much easier to just talk instead of thinking about it.
She wondered where Refia would end up staying. If she asked, she'd offer her a place in her small apartment, but it seemed almost rude to ask so soon after just meeting her. She'd always been a bit to trusting, she supposed. It was hard to explain why she was so drawn to the girl, a mothering instinct, perhaps? Or maybe just a sense of a kindred spirit. It was such a nice to change to be around someone so full of light and a cheerful outlook.
"So..." Lenne began awkwardly, smiling apologetically at Refia as she searched for an icebreaker question. "What were you doing before you found yourself here?" she asked, smiling in a way that would hopefully let Refia know that she wouldn't hold it against her if she'd rather not answer.
