Garnet had to glance around, wondering where that voice could be coming from--and then she looked up. A rather undignified squeak made its way past her lips as she stumbled back a few steps.

"I-Is this a bad place of town then? I would have assumed with it being called the City Hall that..." She glanced at the thorned walls. So perhaps it was not smart to think it safe. It was rather foreboding, now that she looked.
