Marluxia released her once they were in the room, his gaze sliding toward Xemnas. He had been waiting for them, just as Marluxia had thought he would be. There was a frown at the dismissal. It was too quick, in his opinion, for the trouble he had gone through in the first place, for having to hand her over when he had said he could handle everything.

But he bit his tongue and nodded before making his exit. He had at least done his part to regain some of the Superior's trust, it seemed, and that had been his goal in agreeing to this in the first place.
