Just Another Place To "Not" Be [Complete]
Character(s): Roxas, Riku, open to everyone
Content: Roxas comes into the city
Setting: Just inside the Niflheim gate
Time: Dusk
Warnings: None expected
"What a weird city," Roxas mumbled to himself after he'd gotten his journal from the guy at the gate. The domes were strange enough, but their attempts to simulate weather were just...unnatural. The fake twilight bothered him a little, and he wanted to go back outside to watch the real sunset.
...How ironic. A Nobody wanting to watch a real sunset. He took his eyes off the ground, looking around him for anything that might catch his interest. An ice cream shop caught his interest quickly, and for a moment he found himself...missing...Axel? Could Nobodies...miss someone? They'd both eaten ice cream the first day they met at the clock tower in Twilight Town, maybe it was just that.
There were a lot of people here, but they were all the same...Roxas was no less lost here than he was anywhere else the Organization sent him. At least this time there weren't Heartless everywhere.
Left with nothing else to do, Roxas walked into the ice cream shop, hoping that they had the same sea-salt flavor he'd always gotten with Axel in Twilight Town. He wasn't really disappointed when they didn't, since he'd only ever gotten it from Twilight Town before.
He sat on a bench outside eating the ice cream, browsing through the electronic journal to try to find something to do. Only a handful of posts were anything that wasn't boring, but it was easy enough to waste his time on.
