The pawn is back in play [Active]

Character(s): Naja Salaheem and Sara Sidle. Probably several gypsies kicking 'round.
Content: Naja's Sentinel is finally back.
Setting: Carta Para Ti
Time: Mid-day, week 3
Warnings: ... none at the moment :D; Depends if Naja hits a mood swing lol.

Singing and music filtered into her office and Naja found herself tapping a finger along to its beats, a lazy grin on her face. Before her on the desk was a spread of simple paperwork, her morningstar taking one edge and her journal propped open taking another. She cast blue eyes towards it for a moment, then returned to gazing at the contract that bore Sara Sidle's signature.

She chuckled, startling a gypsy that made way into her office, but he easily recovered and filled her goblet with the brew she enjoyed so much. It had been awhile since she indulged in their secret recipe... but this! This was time for celebration! Her employee was back, somehow. Released or an escapee, Naja would find out soon - or at least she better find out soon if the woman knew what was good for her. Naja didn't give a damn if Sara was on the other side of the city; she better be on her way.

Injections of light...? That certainly perked Naja's interests. And who else did she have snooping about? Tch, 'alliances'... that was simply a silly word for not killing each other on the spot. Naja had no intentions of sharing information with Shalua Rui. But if that woman found out something about the city, then she was worth a further look into.

Besides, the Gypsy King only said she had to be honest to the people who officially worked for her. That meant Sara. And oh! Naja was doing well enough with the Sentinel, despite that the woman had been kidnapped by one of the Organization's mutts. But everyone else was fair game to her.

She gulped down the honey-colored drink, stretching back in the ornate chair and letting out a relaxed sigh. Things seemed to be looking up. Perhaps she should think of advertising again, hmmm?

((Ne, when Sara comes by a gypsy'll lead her to Naja's office :D A good reference thread for the place is this :D ~))

Sara had made it across the city, catching a train from a nearby station from where she woke up, spending most of the trip either lightly sleeping or staring out the windows in a daze. The sleeping didn't help much, images of Greg still dancing on her eyelids every time she closed her eyes. She was going to need some sleeping pills if she wanted to get some quality sleep.

Stepping out at the station closest to where Naja said she was, Sara tucked her hands into her pockets, keeping them close to her gun. She was being prepared now. She still felt like she was walking through clouds as she walked towards the building Naja had mentioned.

Walking through the door, a blond male led her into the building and to another room, where she saw the President sitting.

"So, I miss anything exciting?"

Sara shrugged. "Blame it on the trains." She sat down in one of the chairs across from Naja. "They were running a bit late, and I wasn't moving too quickly myself." It didn't hurt to be honest, right?

"I wouldn't be surprised, the Organization has been busy, from what I've seen. Of course, I only dealt with two of them, not all of them." She blinked, pushing away all the memories of Larxene and her mind games for the moment. "What do you want to know?"
