A new show on the block [Active]
Character(s): Hades and party goers! A handful of natives, and later a crapton of Neoshadows.
Content: After the Doctor gets back from his trip to the church.
Setting: Ceu de Mouraria
Time: Evening; Week 2
Warnings: None at the moment. Will probably be later |D
OOC note (UPDATED): Okay, so, Hades has made his official introduction. Anyone that still wants to join is stuck outside (I’d like to think I gave folk plenty of time to join if they really wanted); characters can try to find a way in, but any doors are sealed shut and darkness is sort of flowing from them. Outside the main doors is a pair of panicky natives. Poor Paixaoans. Or whatever we call them.
Anyone who is still inside, you can’t get outuntil Hades is satisfied just like people can’t get in. The ones who are more the ‘lighthearted’ and ‘good’ guys are obviously the ones getting more attention from the Heartless. Though if others join in to attack than hey, fair game. Unless you reek of darkness and more powerful than them *cough*Rozalin*cough* Neoshadows are more intelligent, after all. omg and they suck to fight, dammit CoM!
What can I say? Hades wanted a coliseum :| So I gave him one. :D;; Even if this isn’t quite the same. But ICly he has a goal in mind. *shrugs*
You can respond to Hades’ post, or start new comment chains. Whichever is… easiest.
Ceu de Mouraria seemed to be the perfect place to hold a party – at least, that was how Hades found it. All he really wanted was the space; the more guests, the better, eh? And by the sounds of things… he was attracting a decent turnout. He wondered how many of them really knew the event as a ‘trap’ and how many were just too damn naïve to keep up with the times. Either way, he didn’t mind too much, as long as they came.
Courtesy of the ever lovely and fascinating (oh, how she proved the easily changing allegiances people could have) Rosemary, secretary to Paixao’s former mayor, he enlisted more ‘help’ from the citizens that already worked at the opera house. They were the ones who stood outside, welcoming guests within – smiles and youthful faces as always – and moved around the inner parts of the venue offering drinks (alcoholic, of course) and small finger-food from a local café. Really, Hades might actually owe Rosemary a thanks or two.
And if asked about the drinks, whether or not they were poisonous, any of the citizens were willing to take a drink of one just to prove their safety. Hades wasn’t about to kill anyone, after all. He would play the ‘good’ host at least for now; let as many people in as possible, then make his grand appearance and let the real show begin.
He could hardly maintain his excitement.
Jazzy music filled the building, circling around and filtering out to welcome guests to the inside…

Sora broke from his position as soon as he saw the god, ignoring what he was saying entirely and paying no attention to the slamming doors, even though he had been right next to them, keyblade in hand. He would go right for the source.
And then the heartless showed up, and he realized he was surrounded by them. No matter, he'd work his way through. Swiping this way and that with talent borne from practice and necessity, he never let his eyes leave Hades for more than a few moments. He leapt off the ground and into the air after a moment, using the keyblade NiGHTS had given him to his advantage, but the Neoshadows still posed a threat, and his progress was slow.
I hope I'm doing this right
He knew better now.
"Hey!" He shouted, briefly shielding himself to throw off a Heartless on his trail. He leapt forward, cutting down the last in his path. He reached Sora and shook his head, readying another spell. "What do you think you're doing, trying to take on all these Heartless by yourself?"
no subject
"We have to get to Hades," Sora said, pointing his weapon in the god's direction. "What's one or two heartless?"
One or two or a room full of them. But if he was here and Riku was here, they'd be okay. Sora was just worried about everyone else. He slammed down on top of another heartless, preventing it from tackling a terrified citizen.

Hope You Don't Mind
he just hadn't realized it would take the form of a large group of shadows.
"Yo! When did Ebon start multiplying," Static quipped as he pulled his collapsible disc from his inner pocket. He barely had time to extend it and hop on before the first heartless slashed down at him, "Whoa!" Static had been charging up electricity and blasted it back as he got on his board. He wouldn't be able to fly high or very easily in here but Static figured being in the air was better than being in that crowd.
Speaking of which...Sora was down there. Static figured he knew what these things were too but he'd lost him when the attack had started. It was amazing how easy it was to lose someone in the middle of a small club. The heartless had also figured out there their meal was just over head...and Static found out shortly after that they were damn good jumpers. "Hey! I don't pick up hitchhikers," he shouted when one clawed its way onto his disc. He super charged his hand with electricity again and shocked it.
He caught sight of a giant key and made for that direction, fending off some heartless with electric blasts or just using the electricity to move them out of the way...they were actually trickier than Ebon had ever been which was saying something. "Sora! Hey, need a hand," Static called, his hands lighting up again as he used his power to pick up one or two heartless and toss them aside.
Nope!
If they were willing to help, he certainly wasn't going to stop them.

There were several people that the Heartless outright ignored; he hadn't suspected such a high number, and he filed their appearances away for consideration. Find out names, purposes; Hades did love to pry.
The electricity stole his attention with a look of disdain, his mind thinking of Zeus. His fingers twitched, so ready to bring the roof down, but that would ruin everything. No. Just a bit longer.
More Heartless fell, and all Hades did was laugh. He already had what he wanted.
"Come on, Sora! Don't make me wait!" he called, finally focusing on the trio that were coming towards him.

"Why don't you come over here? Or are you scared!" Sora called back, not stopping to see where Riku or Static were.

He also noticed that the guy seemed to piss off Sora fairly easily. Knowing how personal vendettas could be Static just stuck to blasting Heartless out of the way with balls of electricity.

But just to keep things interesting, Hades so kindly formed a fireball and sent it in Sora's direction. The brat could never have enough obstacles.

"I stopped you before, I can do it again!" He pitched his keyblade at Hades like a boomerang.

Static formed another ball of lightening in between his hands before hurling it at more of the shadow creatures. He noticed Sora's keyblade take flight and smirked, deciding to help it a bit and zapped it with a charge, meaning whatever it hit was going to get a nice shock.

Not now, he told himself. "Don't expect me to help you up if you trip!" Riku said to Sora, catching up and running beside his friend.

The fire danced along him and his whole body burned. He continued to laugh and sent out the flames before him, killing any Heartless in its wake and leaving a curl of billowing smoke to be the path for Sora.
“Come on then, let’s go kid! Show me what you’ve got!” He pumped his fists through the air, getting psyched up.

And, leaping off the head of a Neoshadow, his allies forgotten in his fury, he took to the air, charging in a top speed dive at Hades, keyblade out like a lance. He couldn't let Hades hurt anyone else, so he'd have to stop him fast.

He glared at Hades and realized that instead of fighting him they needed to figure out a way to get the civilians out of here. Static flew over to the nearest door and attempted to open it but it wasn't budging, "Dang, no wonder this guy is the ruler of the underworld...he just pulls all sorts of low tactics."

Underhanded? My, my... it didn't seem like Sora knew him at all! Though it wasn't like he was Herc the Jerk... He merely traded blows with Sora just a few times, 'stead of having to deal with him every waking moment.
Although Hades wouldn't exactly mind having Hercules around here so he could destroy him...
Riling up Sora was considerably the most entertaining part of this 'party' of his. But his bratty friend was becoming an overconfident annoyance, and Hades turned his focus temporarily to him, sweeping an arm his way, only to seconds later feel Sora's keyblade crash into his side.
The impact was painful enough to set Hades in a rage - fire bursting up around him, scorching the stage, and hopefully harming the pair of keyblading brats as well.
It'd be such a shame to set the whole place aflame just to extinguish them...
