Timon kept his eyes on his menu, knowing full well the news he shared only upset Larsa further. He hadn’t taken the news well himself, especially when it involved his own friends. Anger, grief, fear, and guilt had swept over him and taken their toll. He would not watch the Prince’s reaction; he had no desire to watch him experience the same thing. A soft hum was given in response to the boy response as he flipped the page to his menu.

“I wish I knew how to stop it too. Nothing seems to work and things are only getting worse. The Organization has a better tie on things this time around. They’ve started wearing disguises, changing their journal pictures... Unless you know exactly what to look for, you couldn’t identify them. Well, not unless you happen to be familiar with the smell of darkness. Then you could point ‘em out in less than a second. They absolutely reek of the stuff.”

Kicking his menu closed, the meerkat wandered toward the middle of the table and casually leaned against the peppershaker resting there. “As for this Resistance,” he began in a quiet voice. “I happen to be closely associated with them. But for obvious reasons we like to keep things a quiet as possible, if you know what I mean. The Organization is always watching.” At this, he shifted his gaze around the restaurant for what seemed like the eleventh time. “If you want to help or want more information you could ask Sephiroth, Auron, Braska, or Death – but remember, keep it on the down low.”

“Actually, if you can’t get a hold of me n’ still have questions after this you could ask Death for information too. He might not know as much as me, but he still knows a lot. And I wouldn’t worry ‘bout repaying me, you’re already treating me to dinner.”
