Hanekoma winked and said, "Well, I'm happy to be an agent of change. Leave things alone too long and they get stale. Tradition is nice and all, but sometimes you have to break the mold."

It really was easy to keep Hanekoma talking, but that's because it was something he loved to do. While he could be secretive at times, he was a master of learning a lot about someone, letting them learn a lot about him, and yet all the while never letting them know anything they shouldn't. It was a hard skill to learn, but he had a lot of practice.
