Shopping! [closed]

Characters: Cid, Roxas, Gene, whoever else would like to choose to participate
Content: Cid opens his shop and meets his new employees
Setting: Cid's Shop, across the street from the center branch of the Actua Are
Time: Wednesday night
Warnings: None!

It had taken him two whole days to clean the place up and get it to his liking, but he was finally done and ready for business. He stood in the doorway of the shop, looking over all his hard work, and gave an approving nod. Not a bad job, if he did say so himself.

He had kept alot of the original furniture that was there when he got it, but he had rearranged it and found a few old rugs in the back to lay on the hardwood floors. There was a rather large fireplace that he had moved the couch in front of... he thought it was a good idea, since Paixao was rather cold, and his customers (or those damn friends of his) could come in and warm up.

Oh. He'd forgotten to start it. Might as well do that now. The sun was setting and it had been freezing all day. He hadn't worn his sweatshirt once, though. He's gotta keep up his manly image, and a little cold never hurt anybody!

Well, maybe it did...

It had seemed to Cid that the store had been a pawn shop before he got his hands on it, so there was a great number of different things avalible for him to sell, or to modify. Everything was going so well.

Now he just had to wait until someone threw a wrench in the works.

It had taken quite a bit of walking to get to the center of town. Really, Hojo had nearly forgotten how big the city was, and how far out of the way the old fortress was. It was probably for the best, really; he could go about his work undisturbed... still, a car or a chocobo or something would have made his life a lot easier.

In any case, he did want to see what sort of weaponry and machinery was for sale here. He'd spent most of the day buried in the remains of broken technology, doing his best to get what he could back in working order. The master computer, while damaged, still worked, and the information stored inside had been an immense help to him when it came to repairs. It wasn't until late in the afternoon that he realized there wasn't actually any food in the fortress, which was what had prompted him to leave at all.

Perhaps on the way back he would actually use the train, he decided to himself as he slipped into the shop, absently cleaning the grease from the machines out from under his fingernails.

When the two men had entered the shop, Roxas had nervously sunk down into the coach. But Mr. Cid was clearly busy with the first arrival leaving the thin, skinny man standing by himself waiting. Well, this was the kind of situation Mr. Cid had told him wait for, right? He said to just sit tight until customers arrived and, well, here they were. He got off the couch and walked over to the thin customer. "Good evening, Mister!" he greeted nervously. "I, ah, is there any way I can help you, sir?"
