"I don't know. Have they ever been bad at all?" he asked her. "If they have, there's a chance they'll be attacked. If they've done nothing wrong in their lives, they'll be spared... maybe. The creatures seem to be a fickle sort."

He supposed he would have to assure her that nothing would happen to her brothers... He was curious as to how she would react if he left the statement as it was, but assurances were probably for the best.
