I can has food? [completed]
Character(s): Lenne, Shuyin, Karst
Content: Food! (hopefully!) and conversation
Setting: Cafe Ersesat
Time: Early Evening
Warnings: None at the moment...
Money didn’t grow on trees in Lenne’s reality. Therefore, this could not possible be real. Shuyin was here, walking right alongside her, and they were accompanied by their would-be tour guide and hopefully new friend Karst. She had shown them on a map on the journals, that was what she called them, where the closest eatery was. Along the way Lenne let her mind wander slightly, fiddling with the journal in her hands, trying to figure out its workings and purpose, and listening for any direction from Karst so that she did not find herself walking down some dark alley with her face stuck in the fascinating piece of machina in her hands.
After some time, Lenne was unsure as to just how much had passed, they neared the eatery, and as she had remembered Karst mentioning something earlier, she plucked a few spare “leaves” from an overly ornate tree just outside, and a flower, just to test her luck, and placed them carefully inside the satchel at her hip, tossing a quick grin and a wink at Shuyin.
She entered the establishment with them, looking around, taking it all in. It seemed cozy enough, and glanced around for a sign that would indicate if they were to seat themselves or wait to be approached. Everyone inside looked eerily similar, almost familiar now, white blonde hair, blue eyes, vacant but friendly expressions… this must be a dream somehow.
“Well, shall we take a seat?” she asked with a soft laugh, smiling at Karst and Shuyin and heading in to find a table, without waiting for an answer.
