Yo-ho-ho and a bottle... [active]
Characters: Captain Jack and who-so-ever deems fit to meddle in his affairs
Content: Jack does some meandering
Setting: Vanaheim gate
Time: Late afternoon
Jack found himself quite not aboard his ship, and quite not in the company of his crew. It was a strange thing, waking up from... whatever it was he'd woken up from- perhaps drinking or... oar. Smacked with an oar. Yes, that would very well do it, wouldn't it?
Making sure his effects were in place, he stepped forward, a neat little box shoved into his hands by a fairly well-dressed gentleman who seemed to have no qualms about giving things away. Some part of the pirate would have liked to have stolen it rather than received it without second glance, but the man's words struck a chord.
"Welcome to Paixao."
"Ah, that's all fine and dandy, mate, but shall I have my crew back? Ship's in need of a captain, and that'd be myself... if I wasn't by my onesies on this one." Jack pulled a face, shuffled through as he was to enter Paixao proper. Pressing his hat further onto his head, he kept the little journal and pamphlets in the other, intent on finding out how much they were worth. Of course, his next objective after that would be a well-mulled drink. He just needed to find a pub...
