The Truth Exists Beyond the Gates [Active]

Character(s): Hei
Content: Arrivaaaaaaaaaaaal
Setting: By the Muspelheim Gate~
Time: Early morning
Warnings: Nothing yet.

They would have to stick to the trail made by the dolls. But not too far inwards the doll movement stopped, as did the small group. Had they been tricked? Hei looked to Yin, being a doll herself she had a better feeling for what the dolls leading the way were trying to do. Yin nodded towards him, being blind her accuracy in facing Hei was a little off but Hei still got the idea. As Yin walked forward Mao and Hei stood still a moment, watching. After a moment a blue portal of sorts opened up before and she walked inside without any precaution. Yep, guess it was safe. Hei continued towards the portal while Mao freaked out behind him. "Wait, Hei! You can't g--" But Hei ignored the fellow Contractor. What a scaredy cat.

But after Hei stepped through the portal and into the next area within the Gate, things seemed different. He couldn't see Yin and the area didn't look like the inner parts of the Gate at all. Had the doll led him to the wrong place? This wasn't good. Hei waited a little longer, waiting to see if Mao would appear nearby. Though Mao had freaked out he would have surely followed after them soon. But he didn't show up. Definitely not good. Onto a different idea then.

A small line leading up to a gate of sorts could be seen a little ahead. And that was..? Hei could easily hop over the gate and have a look but whether he would be seen doing so was another question. It appeared that there wasn't an empty area in sight for quite a ways or covering. If it was night time perhaps this wouldn't be an issue, however, it was already beginning to be morning. Though the line did appear to be moving onwards. It may just be easier to walk in normally, even if something such as the police were watching the area. Being wary of Contractors? Probably, Hei would need to be wary at least.

Hei took off his black trench coat and folded it up into his back pocket. He appeared normal enough now and could wait in line, patiently and try not to cause any disturbances. It would be stupid to charge ahead and cause a commotion, even if he was in a hurry to figure out what was going on.

Luckily, not long after he arrived at the front. "Ah, excuse me?" Hei was about to ask as kindly as possible. Just a random pedestrian asking questions, nothing suspicious. "Hello, welcome to Paixao. Here you go! Please keep moving." The man then shoved an array of objects into Hei's hands and the line behind him pushed him forward inside the gate. That wasn't exactly as planned, but now he was inside. A bit confused looking and disoriented] he looked around for someone who may be a bit more of a help than the ones in front of the gate. Where the hell was Amber in all of this anyways? Had he really been separated from Hell's Gate and the others by that large a distance? He'd have to search for a way back on his own for now.
