Auron might not have been able to see the tornado's approach, but he could feel the winds proceeding it. Acting quickly, he brought up his sword, knowing himself to be too close to be able to get away in time. The protective spells surrounding him managed to deflect some of the rubble and the lightning away, but a few pieces managed to get through, battering the guardian, with a few of the sharper pieces leaving cuts both shallow and deep on whatever piece of exposed skin they managed to pass by.

Auron barely managed to duck under a piece of flying debris before he was able to retaliate. He brought his hand in front of him as he concentrated, a bright light pulsing around him for a moment before he charged forward, leaping in the air and driving his sword into the ground, and the earth in front of him immediately burst open in an explosion.
