Susan's first impulse was to slap some sense into Death. After all he couldn't possibly have forgotten about her, not when he remembered everything. But since that would have done nothing save for earn her a sore hand, that urge was quickly smothered under the blanket of common sense.

"I know you don't forget things, so you can't possibly have forgotten about me," she accused. Or at least, not without things being deeply, seriously wrong.

"And yes, grandfather," she answered to the other question, although it was more an after though than anything else.
