Growing tired, the height gained by his desperate leaps gradually began to decrease. Eventually, he simply tried reaching for the door handle by standing on his tippy toes. He knew he was incapable of reaching the handle, but it was worth a try none the less. Who knew how long it would be till someone passed through the door again?
It was then he noticed the dark shadow that hung over him. Almost immediately the meerkat looked behind him... And then up. He appeared similar to a dumbfounded child; his mouth hung wide open, and large, brown, eyes wide while gazing up at the woman. The friendly smile gleaming down at him in return, however, quickly changed this. A mirrored smile was given once he had realized she was opening the door for him.
"Hello!" Timon replied, jumping back to allow the woman to fully open the door. "Geez, they outta make these places more accessible for the little folk, you know what I mean? -eh, probably not. But thanks for the help. I'd of been there all night. Or at least till somebody left the place."
Walking into the cafe, he looked up at the woman once again. "Say, you wouldn't happen ta be meeting anyone here, would you?"
