"Of course not," Lara agreed. That was a part of who she was, after all, and her friends back home often remarked on her recklessness and daredevil tendencies. She found herself glad, however, that she had met someone who appeared at least somewhat like-minded; for all Lara's independence, traveling by herself could grow old after a while if she didn't have anyone to share memories and stories with. Half the fun of making memories, after all, was recalling them with someone else.

"Really?" Lara mused aloud, following Sonic and staying on her guard. "I wonder why, but if he's responsible for your coming, I'm rather grateful - this trip would have taken me hours, otherwise." Not that she minded, but without supplies, it would have been a long trip.
