At that, Lara laughed and noted the (apparently) completely artificial island. "You're probably right," Lara stated, "but I believe it may very well have been for a purpose. Perhaps it was created in an attempt to contain something, or to keep something out." Such as those creatures who attacked her - then again, it was far too soon to be making such conjectures. On the other hand, she wasn't who she was because she waited to take risks of any kind.

"That would be nice," Lara agreed, "especially since I've only been on the train so far." She had been far too concerned with exploring outside the city to bother looking within it, but such was her nature. She raised an eyebrow, however, as Sonic's question. "Why not?" she said; she had a feeling it wouldn't be good if they were caught out here too late.
