The first sign that something was amiss was the sudden desertion of the street. The second was the shaking of the ground, and the third was the gigantic shadow that loomed over the three of them.

Sephiroth slowly, calmly turned to face the source of the shadow, and found himself looking at what had to be the -biggest- damn centipede he'd ever seen. Thing had to be the size of the Midgard Serpent, and just judging by that, he knew they were in trouble. Some of his best troops had gone up against that thing, to no avail.

Then again, his best troops weren't Sephiroth.

"Unless the two of you have experience in fighting monsters like this," he said calmly, stepping forward, "I would suggest that you stand back."

With Masamune held in an overhand ready position, he faced the behemoth of a centipede with a calm that was entirely too creepy to have been normal.
