Ah. The mage seemed to have hit his limit on spell-casting for the time being. The only question was how well he'd take to that, especially when it seemed that his temporary ally wasn't going be staying much longer. A shame if he did though; it would be interesting to see how he fought if that kick had been any indication.

But regardless of what went on down below, he wasn't going to reveal himself just yet. No need for him to step in if they had things well in hand, after all.
