Perhaps there would have been slight signs of discontentment, had Reno not been quite so worn out. As it stood, however, there was little more than a general sense of grudging acceptance and perhaps a bit of impatience, although he wasn't actually attempting to move anywhere.

True, he recognized the gesture for what it was, but that hardly insured that he was going to sit tamely for it. He... just wasn't going to be moving. Or at least not yet anyway.
