The lumen sniffed at the hand, then nudged its head at it, gently for a moment or two, before its body went stiff. The glower around its body hummed and seemed to intensify, and the lumen lowered back down to the ground, body now rigid as its eyes swiveled onto the creature, corrupt and black and wrong - and in the city! If the lumen felt out more, it could sense them, throughout parts of the city.

It growled lowly and paced in front of the girl, oddly in a protecting way. Perhaps it had been for the music, but either way, the being stood guard, shaking with fury towards this abomination.
