'Ah, sorry...' Ed said, settling again and holding still as Sasori worked. When Deidara offered him a better view of the strange orifices, Ed paled slightly and started to babble. 'Sorry. Surprised. In my world and the one I just came from everybody's body is configured pretty much identical. I mean, Pride isn't human but his internal organs are going to be pretty much a dead-on match to mine even though he's probably not using half of them. Of course in Munich people would have thought my arm was pretty creepy so that's why I had it covered, I mean, I'm sure as hell not someone to talk about normal...' He trailed off and flushed, embarrassed at his nervous rambling.
He patted Pride lightly on the head as the homunculus sat next to him and decided the best course of action was a subject change. He'd seen something just before all of this business with Deidara's extra mouths that had caught his interest. 'Sasori, that scroll, it looks kind of like rentanjutsu that I've seen, but how did you make those tools without material to work from? I mean, I could make those sort of objects easily enough with alchemy, but I'd have to have the steel and wood to start out with...' He looked curiously at the markings on the paper, it looked quite a bit like the Xingian characters he'd seen, but he'd never studied enough to learn the language.
