Deidara smirked at Ed's gaping, and tilted his head in Pride's direction at the mention of the boy's being made. A puppet like Sasori. But Deidara hadn't noticed, and he didn't think Sasori had, either, and certainly Sasori would have. Something else, then. Of course Sasori was interested.

At the revelation of the metal that lay within Edward's false hand, Deidara showed only a moment's interest. That was Sasori's thing, not his; all it meant was that Edward either lost his hand or had it chopped off in favor of a mechanical one.

Well, this room was just full of people--or not people, whatever--Sasori could get along with, wasn't it? As for Deidara, he was playing silent sentinel to Sasori's relatively talkative mood. Really, it was quite a role reversal, even if it wouldn't last. He wondered if Sasori would notice.
