"You shouldn't have," the Doctor replied, not letting go any time soon. "The barrier between the two universes sealed for good."

He'd used the last hole to say good bye. There had been nothing else left. If there had been he would have found it.

"But, here we are, brought to some other universe, trapped in a city with no means of escape," he said, strangely cheerful about the whole thing. Anyone else would upset, or at least worried about it, but this was almost like just another day for the Doctor. This certainly wasn't the first time he'd been in this kind of situation. He might have almost been enjoying it if not for some of the less than pleasant things going on. Kidnappings... experiments... something was going on here, and he was determined to get to the bottom of it.

...But it could hold on for a bit.

"Just like old times, eh?" he pulled back only enough to give her a bright grin.
