Considering alien-abduction was always a possibility... [Completed]

Character(s): Rose Tyler
Content: Rose finds her self so suddenly somewhere else after one of the hardest things for her to deal with, but manages a phone call, to her surprise.
Setting: Muspelheim gate
Time: Late Afternoon
Warnings: None

Her shoes skidded through what was no longer wet beach sand. She stumbled forward as they caught, tripping her up just a bit. Her breathing stopped short with a hitch and all she could do for a moment was stare at the ground before her eyes slowly at the golden flames of a gate, and the domes beyond. Her eyes gazed behind her, and she spun around, taken in the change of scenery, the sound of voices and talk versus the ocean.

Not Norway. Definitely not Norway. ...Where was her mum? Her mum was in arms reach... she was... had been... right there. Right with them. Her.

Okay. Okay. She could do this. Just focus a bit. Yet a sobbed still racked over her and she ran her hands through blond hair, digging into it, trying to get a hold of herself. What a real horrible way to say goodbye. ...but at least she... got to.

Intel. She needed intel. Sobbing young teenager; people might keel to that. She shuffled to the line, arms crossed tightly over to her chest, and hey, some people let her in front of them, and then she was at the booth, trying to look better off than she was. "Wha - What is -" Okay. Speech wasn't working so well yet either. Wonderful.

"Welcome to Paixao!" Too cheery for her. She wanted to throttle him. Paixao. Never heard of it. Was she on Earth? No, couldn't be. Not even a New-New-New-ohwhatever-Earth. "Can I have your name, miss?"

"Why? You wanna use it for some weird security-measures against me?"

"We get the names of all guests. And you get this, miss," he handed her a deep red journal, a borderline of gold around it. "Name?"

She swallowed and glanced beyond the gate, steadying getting control over her tears after rubbing an arm over her face. "It's... Rose Tyler." She held the journal close to her. Maybe just a quick... look inside. She slid beyond the booth and through the gate, taking out her phone from her pocket slowly. If she was panicking, then surely her mum was; oh god, Rose just upped and disappeared on her again! Not even on purpose this time!

She dialed and held the phone up to her ear, stumbling further into the city until she stopped by a bench. She frowned when her phone wouldn't even ring... just... disconnected with a half attempt. "N-No... come on... that isn't possible..." She tried the next number on her contact list, shaking, and then unconsciously went through all the numbers, losing her composure quickly. This was all too wrong - what if she was in another new universe? Away from her Doctor, away from her family? Could she handle that? Could she -

Rose almost dropped her phone to the ground. It was ringing. She pulled it away from her ear and stared at what she had dialed.

The TARDIS.

Rose nearly choked.
