Ah, now this was more Lorne's kind of place. He felt a little more relaxed, back in his element as it was.
"Nice little spot," he said walking in the door. His red eyes scanned the room. Not too busy, but it didn't look to be dead either. At this time of day, that was a good sign. "I prefer things a little flashier, a little louder, but you can't knock another cat's swing, you know what I mean?"
As his guide and aquaintence was checking out the menu, Lorne was already walking straight for the bar. "Yeah, the bar sounds just about right. Now to see if they can pass the first test."
The man behind the barcounter looked like everyone else in this strange place. Just a little bit faded, sort of non-descript. What a weird place this was. "Sea Breeze, por favor. And don't skimp on the grapefruit juice." He turned his eyes to the man he knew as Eddie and smiled. "My fav drink back home. Next to the bloody mary that is.. without the blood that is." He laughed and turned back to the counter, his drink already waiting for him.
"Get something and we'll do a proper toast. To what, I don't really care."
