The Jedi was still sorry, whether there was a reason or not. It was his pleasure to have been able to help, of course, but he would continue to wish he had been able to do more. As it was... As it was, though, he was cut off on that train of thought by Rosette's words and Chrno's reaction to them. Kit cast a curious look to the two, concerned but hopeful; two words weren't much, but they were a wild improvement on the small, sad noise his acquaintance had made when he'd first found her.

He found he couldn't only watch as Chrno moved to take action---unable to even guess at the eventual outcome, he did have to hope.
