He regarded the other two animals with no small mixture of surprise showing on his face. Did this have anything to do with that ludicrous idea that he was some sort of bird? What, were they putting together a menagerie?

Then he sighed internally. Dammit... I have to be nice, too. Apparently the short and mouthy one saved my life... Although he wasn't sure how he was supposed to pay someone back for something he didn't remember.
